Postpartum Support Group
You’re not doing this alone.
A calm, welcoming space to ask questions, get evidence-based guidance, and connect with other Tucson moms working through the same things. Facilitated by a breastfeeding specialist, with no pressure and no judgment.

We host our weekly group at TMC Rincon, on the southeast side.
What the group offers
This is a supportive, discussion-based group, not a formal class. Each session follows the questions the families in the room bring that day. Topics often include:
- Latch comfort and positioning
- Normal newborn feeding behavior
- Milk supply questions
- Pumping basics and troubleshooting
- Bottle-feeding strategies
- Returning to work or school
- Growth spurts and cluster feeding
- Knowing when one-on-one support makes sense
Who it’s for
- Pregnant moms preparing to breastfeed
- Moms of newborns and young infants
- Anyone who wants community and practical, judgment-free guidance
Out of consideration for other participants, who may not feel at ease nursing around someone else’s partner, we ask that male support partners remain at home for these sessions. Older toddlers are best left at home too, so the focus stays on the babies and the conversation.
What to bring
- Your baby, and a breastfeeding pillow if you use one
- A list of any questions or worries
Prefer to just listen and observe? That is completely welcome too.
What you’ll walk away with
- More confidence reading your baby’s feeding cues
- A real sense of connection and reassurance
- Feeding that feels more manageable, and a lot less isolating
When a private visit is the better fit
The group helps a lot of families, but some things are better handled one-on-one: significant pain, poor weight gain, a complex medical history, or ongoing feeding distress. If you are not sure which is right for you, we are glad to help you decide, and a breastfeeding medicine visit is always available.
Come as you are.
Reserve your spot for Monday’s group, or book a one-on-one visit any time.
